Hi everyone, welcome to my page! I am so happy you are here. My name is Erin and I am excited to tell you a little bit about who I am and my faith journey!

In August of 2021 I will be graduating from Ohio State University Fisher College of Business with a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business and a minor in Studio Arts. I enjoy singing, playing the keys/guitar, painting/photography, hiking, and sitting down with a cup of coffee and a good book or writing poetry.

I am currently 22 years old and am one of eight siblings! Needless to say, life was never dull in my house. Throughout my younger years and into my teens, I participated in the county fair and showed horses, cows and rabbits as well as being very active in sports in high school, graduating with my license in Cosmetology and a lot of dreams going forward. This race being one of those dreams!

I was raised in a Christian household with parents who led by example in their faith and encouraged their kids to be active in the church; which is something I am deeply thankful for- as I know that not everyone has this experience. However, despite their push and drive, I believe everyone has to come to a point in their life where they have to stop hiding underneath their parents’ faith, or lack thereof, and make the choice to follow Jesus for themselves. The summer before my sophomore year of high school is when I made that decision!

Throughout my freshman year in high school, I was battling a deep depression that was twisted in lies of worthlessness, anger and loneliness. I remember the feeling of “you have no reason to be sad, so you shouldn’t be”; which only drove me farther into this pit. It caused me to become divided from both my family and peers. Altogether, I was a broken, young girl who didn’t know how precious she was to the Father- until I was blessed with the opportunity through my youth group to go on my very first mission trip to Carmen Serdán, Mexico. It was there that I saw Jesus for the first time. Ultimately, I was saved and baptized that summer!

Since then, I have had highs and lows as everyone does, but God has placed a divine purpose in me that I seek to live out the best that I can, day by day- despite the struggles of daily life. Since that trip to Mexico, from the age of 15 to now, the World Race has been something that the Lord has whispered in my ear for a very long time to go on. I have a tremendous, delightful feeling, that God is going to be moving mountains: healing the sick, the broken hearted, and touching the lives of people who may never have had an encounter with the hands and feet of Jesus before. I believe that through the Holy Spirit, prayer and obedience, God is going to use me to be those hands and feet, as well as those around me. I know that this is going to be one of the most wild years of my life, strewn together with upcoming joy, difficulty and a whole lot of faith, but I am choosing to walk in peace as this next season approaches. Everyday, we have an opportunity to step out in boldness and cast out fear, and it would mean the absolute world to be considered in having your support and prayers as I walk this path of obedience to the call the Father has on my life.

Thank you for taking the time to read this, may God bless you!
